The Maker

My name is Chase Decker. It’s hard to pinpoint where my passion for leather really began. Although, I can recall years ago searching for a nice handmade wallet that would age beautifully. It was in that moment a thought came to mind “why don’t I make my own?” So, I did just that. My first wallet wasn’t the greatest looking thing, but I took great pride in my work. That sense of accomplishment gave me what I needed to better my craft. Wallet after wallet I got better and better. After showing the wallets to some of my friends and family, orders started coming in for what would later become Black Stag Leather Co. I believe that everyone should have a wallet their grandpa would be proud of, therefore the purpose of this company is to offer high quality leather goods at an affordable price. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story and learning more about how Black Stag Leather Co. came to be.
